Jazz in the Atrium series returns

The 11th annual Jazz in the Atrium music series returned to the domestic terminal on May 21 and offered passengers nine days of performances by renowned, mostly local artists.
The program is presented in conjunction with the 35th annual Atlanta Jazz Festival. This year’s lineup featured Michael Blackburn Jazz Ensemble (May 21), Gary Harris (May 22), Trey Wright Trio (May 23), Eldridge Simms Jazz Quintet (May 24 and 31), Life Force (May 25), Bob Miles (May 29), Jim Pearce (May 30) and Teddy Adams (June 1).

Lennon named permanent director of Security

Jan Lennon, who has been serving as interim director of Security at Hartsfield-Jackson, has been made permanent in that role.

She reports to Richard Duncan, who recently was named assistant general manager for the restructured Public Safety and Security division.
